Goa is a tourist’s paradise and for centuries it is known for its rich and yummy Goan food culture. We are fortunate today that its rich food culture is preserved for generations in the form of small food joints by some thoughtful people. Your hosts have designed this amazing experience for you with an intention to take you to these places for food tasting so that you can also cherish this food, feast your taste buds and have a fabulous and lasting impression.
- You will be meeting your guide of the day at Our Lady of Grace Church, Margao at your preferred time slot which can either be 12:00 noon or 6:00 PM.
- After a short meet and greet, you will begin your food walk along with the guide.
- Stroll the lanes with oldest food shops of the Portuguese influenced state, taste variety of local street food of Goa.
- Mouthwatering local dishes like Xacuti, taste famous sweet Peda, Cucumber Mint Juice, various types chats, cutlets and many more.
- Witness the preparation of the most celebrated sweets in the Portuguese state, some delicacies that even though did not originate from Goa but still are a part of its rich cuisine for centuries.
- Sip a cup of masala chai tea in a clay pot with unmatched views of Goa, and admire its beauty while doing what people like doing – eat.
- Grab lip-smacking famous sweet dishes, desserts of Goa at the end of the two-hour walk.
- Your tour ends at the Our Lady of Grace Church, Margao.
